Summer's End - Van Nuys, CA, 2008 - J. Waggle

Finished

  1. I present myself on a silver platter
  2. A fabulous buffet of cutlets for the carnivore
  3. I plumb the depths of my being
  4. For the choicest cuts to satiate the beast
  5. Pouring love on this meal
  6. Would be like diving into an empty pool
  7. The meat is undercooked
  8. The presentation is reason for ridicule
  9. The flavor is too subtle
  10. Nothing but the heart will do!
  11.
  12. How would you like it prepared?
  13.
  14. I find
  15. To my dismay
  16. You have turned my chest into a HAPPY MEAL
  17. You are fishing around my shattered ribs for the complimentary toy
  18. As you scarf down the last of my good intentions
  19. I pause to examine the gaping hole
  20.
  21. You're still hungry?
  22.
  23. I can't say I'm surprised.
  24. That heart couldn't have been very filling
  25. After you stomped the shit out of it
  26. I was hoping you might take some home with you
  27. But you just chew me up and spit me out
  28. Now you're ready to have it YOUR WAY
  29. Please pull up to the second, third, fourth, fifth window.
  30.
  31. Would you like fries with that?
